Our client is an international company specializing in the development and manufacturing of differentiated natural ingredients.
Our client is an international FMCG company, comprising several iconic brands operating in both B2B and B2C markets.
They are currently facing significant transformations and competitive challenges. The company is pursuing an ambitious global growth strategy, and a European reorganization has recently been announced.
In this context, we are looking for an HR Director Spain F/M to lead all HR activities for a scope of over 100 employees (HQ) and 50 employees (Production site), within a fast evolving industrial environment.
Reporting directly to the HR Director Europe, your main responsibilities will be:
1. Operational HR Management
- Oversee HR activities for the Spanish perimeter: personnel administration, workforce monitoring, and career management
- Support managers in team management (recruitment, performance, mobility, disciplinary actions)
- Provide guidance to global HR teams regarding job transformation in Spain to better define scopes and responsibilities
2. Social Relations & Work Environment
- Lead social dialogue within an industrial environment (50-person factory)
- Conduct negotiations with employee representatives
- Ensure a healthy work climate and promote best practices in collective labor relations
3. HR Transformation Roll-out
- Actively contribute to the implementation of the new HR model based on centers of expertise
- Participate in the definition and deployment of cross-functional HR processes
4. On-site Presence
- Be regularly present at the industrial site to maintain close HR support
- Ensure proper communication and implementation of group HR policies within the plan
You have a solid experience of at least 10 years in generalist HR roles, ideally within complex international environments.
You have demonstrated strong expertise in labor relations within industrial settings. As a team manager and true business partner, you have successfully supported HR transformation projects with commitment and pragmatism.
With excellent interpersonal skills and active listening abilities, you foster a climate of trust and open communication with both your team and internal stakeholders. Agile and adaptable, you combine leadership and a pedagogical approach to guide teams through change, aligning them around common objectives. Your rigor and strong organizational skills will be key to thriving in this role.
Given the international scope of the position, fluent English is required.
Location: The position is based in Barcelona, with travel between the headquarters and the production site.
