Our client is an international industrial SME, specialized in the design and assembly of high value-added technical solutions for critical industrial environments.

Its business model combines engineering, assembly and international distribution, serving multiple strategic industries (energy, heavy industry, industrial equipment, etc.).

In a context of growth and transformation (international expansion, industrial structuring, tools and processes evolution), we are recruiting its future General Manager.

Position: General Manager (F/M)
Reporting to the Group’s top management, you will take full responsibility for a strategic industrial business unit.
You will define and execute the entity’s strategy, with a dual focus on operational performance and business development, in a demanding environment requiring strong execution capabilities.
Key responsibilities
- Define and drive the overall strategy of the business unit in alignment with the group
- Take full ownership of the P&L, cash flow and investments
- Oversee all operations: production, engineering, sales and support functions
- Ensure operational excellence (quality, cost, delivery, safety)
- Drive international business development, especially through distributor networks
- Define and implement product and industrial strategies
- Lead transformation projects (organization, industrial site, ERP, processes)
- Report regularly on financial and operational performance
- Lead, structure and develop teams while maintaining strong engagement
- Ensure compliance with QHSE standards and regulatory requirements
- Embody and deploy the group’s culture and values locally

Your profile
You bring at least 15 years of experience in industrial environments, including several years in leadership roles with full P&L responsibility.
You hold an engineering degree (optionally complemented by an MBA or equivalent), and you have developed your career in technical, B2B industrial environments with strong regulatory and safety constraints.
You must come from adjacent or similar industries, such as:
- Lifting equipment
- Heavy handling solutions
- Load-related technical equipment
- Certified industrial components or safety-critical systems
- You have a strong understanding of international distribution models, particularly through partner networks.
You are recognized for:
- Strong leadership and ability to engage technical teams
- Your capacity to decide, execute and deliver in demanding environments
- A hands-on and strategic mindset
- Rigor, prioritization skills and results orientation
- Ability to operate in transformation contexts
